Planting Projects in the Lakeshore Nature Preserve

Contact: Glenda Denniston at denniston@wisc.edu

Volunteers have been planting native plants in a damaged area at the top of Bill’s Woods, south of the Eagle Heights Gardens, and more recently near the entrance to Picnic Point, mostly in the southeast corner of Bill's Woods. Help is still needed in planting, weeding, caring for newly planted shrubs, wildflowers and ferns and in recording vegetation changes in the project areas.
