Interpretive Signs of the Class of 1918 Marsh

We present the 21 signs, some of which were duplicated for a total of 32 signs, that were placed around the Class of 1918 Marsh when it was dedicated in 1972.  See Sign 1 for their original placement around the Marsh.  We rearranged and, in some instances, resized the content so it would fit the web page format and be legible.  The materials are taken from a booklet, 8.5 x 14",  put together by James H. Zimmerman, a U.W. Arboretum naturalist and lecturer for the Institute for Environmental Studies.  The booklet cover and list of signs follows (some are duplicates, as indicated by the numbers in parentheses after the sign number).
