Volunteers clean up trash in the Preserve, especially in the spring, and help to remove man-made debris. For example, the Upper Bill’s Woods Planting Project has included removal of granite paving blocks, bricks, concrete slabs and piles of wood and gravel. See Tom Helgeson at right.
